Ms. Philipps is a Partner with the firm. She is a graduate of Mount Saint Joseph Academy, The College of New Jersey (B.S., with honors) and Rutgers School of Law – Camden (J.D., with honors). Ms. Philipps is admitted to the Bar in the State of New Jersey, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Philipps served as a judicial law clerk in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Middlesex County, to the Honorable Heidi Willis Currier, J.A.D., Acting Deputy Presiding Judge.

Ms. Philipps is a member of the Camden County Bar Association, the Burlington County Bar Association and the New Jersey State Bar Association. She practices in all aspects of civil law and litigation, including Civil Rights, Education, Insurance Defense, Personal Injury, Premises Liability and Public Entity Defense, with a specific focus on Employment Law. Ms. Philipps serves as a legal consultant for employers and as an independent investigator for internal complaints involving public and private entities.

In 2020, Ms. Philipps was named to the list of “Super Women” published by South Jersey Magazine. In 2015, Ms. Philipps was named to the “40 Under 40” list published by SNJ Business People Magazine, which recognizes the top young professionals dedicated to making South Jersey the best place to live, work and raise a family. Ms. Philipps also has been recognized as a “Rising Star” for Civil Litigation by Super Lawyers New Jersey from 2016-2024, a designation based upon peer recognition and professional achievement reserved for only 2.5 percent of New Jersey attorneys under the age of 40 and/or practicing less than 10 years. She also was named to SJ Magazine’s Top Attorney List for Litigation in 2016. From 2013 through 2018, Ms. Philipps served as a Board Member of the South Jersey Young Professionals Association (SJYPA), a nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation with a mission to unite young professionals who live or work in South Jersey through socially-conscious endeavors, events and projects that serve the local community. Ms. Philipps served as the SJYPA President for the 2015-2016 year, during which time the SJYPA donated over $100,000 to local charities.

Ms. Philipps resides in Haddon Heights, New Jersey with her husband, Chris, and their son, Shane, who has Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA). Ms. Philipps is a staunch advocate for SMA, rare disease and newborn screening. She assisted with the passage of a law resulting in SMA being added to NJ’s newborn screening panel in February 2022.  Ms. Philipps also serves as a Councilwoman for the Borough of Haddon Heights, where she is Director of Public Safety and Administration, and helps lead the Redevelopment initiative.
